SHILLONG, AUG 25: TMC will not contest the Shillong Lok Sabha byelection as it has no “proper face”, party state president Charles Pyngrope said Tuesday.
He said Congress and other parties have reached out for TMC’s support.
“Everybody has reached out… it depends on us what line we will take,” Pyngrope said, adding that as of now the party has not decided to support anyone and will “take a call” on remaining neutral.
